In an interview with Chilled Magazine, the actor recalled how both would travel places together and that both of them enjoyed cooking at home, and when they dined outside, his partner Chloe would be the one to review restaurants.

Matthew also mentioned how his ex loved lentils, quinoa, and curries and that the duo would get their veggies from a community that Chloe was a part of.
Unfortunately, Matthew and Chloe grew apart and there were no more traveling together and buying greens from the same shop. Matthew, however, has moved on from the breakup as he found someone new.

Matthew and Alix reportedly began dating in 2019 but went public with their relationship on Instagram in September 2020 when the actress shared a couple of pictures from their COVID-19 photoshoot where they can be seen wearing pandemic essentials such as face shields.
