'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans' Dating History: The Television Personality Has Been Married Twice

Jenelle Evans signed up to showcase her personal life when she joined the drama-filled MTV series, 16 and Pregnant, as a pregnant teenager. Evans has since spent most of her life in front of the camera and has shared all the ups and downs of her life with the viewers, including her tumultuous relationships with men, her recurring struggle with addiction, and her mental illness. Jenelle and her second husband were fired from Teen Mom: Next Chapter after a personal incident reflected badly on the widely-viewed show.  

Now a mother of three, and a year after her prolonged 9-year-long association with MTV came to end, Evans enjoys substantial fame and also bears its adverse repercussions. Through her decade-long stint in television, Evans has carved a career in acting and several digital platforms as an influencer and model. Evans has made several attempts to get back on television but so far, with no success. The Teen Mom alum's personal life sparks news again as Jenelle wins the custody of her son from her mom, Barbara Evans.

Evans, 31, does not have the most upright dating history. In fact, the Teen Mom fame's dating patterns and her ex-boyfriends unveil Jenelle's poor taste in men and her problematic mechanism. When Evans came into the limelight as a pregnant teen she was with Andrew Lewis, who initially promised to help Evans raise their son, but sadly, remained absent from their lives.  The former pair's son Jace was born in August 2009. Evans's strained relationship with Lewis often makes it to the headlines.   

"I became a doormat for the guy. He came and got what he wanted from me when he wanted it, and I waited for him to tell me what to do," Evans said as she shaded her ex. Like her bumpy relationship with Lewis wasn't odious enough, Evans entered an even bumpier and dramatic relationship with Kieffer Delp in 2010. The pair's romance was televised for a few seasons until their split in 2011. Evans' next relationship came at the heels of her breakup with Delp.    

She started dating Gary Head in December 2011 and even got engaged to the guy in 2012. Evans broke off her toxic relationship with Head after he cheated on Evans with her best friend. The couple's story ended with a nasty altercation which led to their arrest. The MTV alum's failed betrothal with Head didn't stop her from pursuing love as Evans got engaged again the same year. Jenelle and her longtime friend, Courtland Rogers, started after her split from Head and announced their engagement in November 2012. 

Fans reckoned Evans and Rogers's whirlwind relationship was a mistake when the duo tied the knot after a month of engagement in December, only to call it quits in January. The pair stretched their tumultuous relationship as far as they could and got themselves arrested at a point for the possession of heroin. Evans and Roger's divorce was finalized in June 2014, the same month the Teen Mom star welcomed her second son, Kaiser, with Nathan Griffith, who she started dating after she filed for divorce from Rogers in 2013.   

MTV viewers probably didn't bat an eye when Evans got engaged and called it quit with Griffith within a span of months. The Teen Mom fame later took back her abusive ex, only to announce their separation almost immediately. The reality tv star-turned-actress is currently navigating a relationship as precarious as her previous relationships. Jenelle has been married to David Eason since 2017.

It had become quite clear to the show's viewers that what Evans needed was a little time to herself to introspect and heal from her past, but the North Carolina native just doesn't get it. Jenelle was fresh out of her on-off relationship with Nathan and before fans could catch a break, the actress was right back in the dating pool. she started dating David Eason, who she met on Tinder, in September 2015.  

The new lovebirds had it going smoothly for a while, with the couple welcoming a daughter, Ensley, in January 2017, and announcing their engagement a month later. "We've decided on forever! #PerfectTiming," the mother of three wrote as she posted a picture of her engagement ring. The couple tied the knot in September 2017 and soon things started going downhill. In February 2018, Eason faced massive backlash after he made some homophobic tweets, which prompted MTV to cut ties with him.  

"With six weeks left of production on Teen Mom 2, effective immediately, we are ending our relationship with him," the channel said in its statement. Evans defended her husband amid the backlash and even stood by him even after David assaulted her. Evans' disruptive marriage with David cost her heavily when Eason pulled another scandalous headline- by killing Jenelle's puppy. "We have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season," MTV said.   

Evans' strained relationship with her mother has also been public knowledge, but the Teen Mom alum now alleges she and Barbara are working on their bond after the two agreed to give Evans the full custody of her eldest son, Jace. "My relationship with Jace is closer than ever and doing much better," said Jenelle, who revealed she and her mother settled the custody arrangement outside of the court. "My relationship with my mother has got a little better, but truthfully she is still a little controlling," Evans said.
