Johnson opened up about the wedding on her blog. She wrote:

"I waited a long time for my husband. When he finally crossed my path he was more than I could ever hope for. He was beyond my greatest dreams or expectations. I wondered to myself if I even deserved this."

The wedding was arranged by Anjelah's sister, Veronica. They had the best photographers and videographers in attendance to ensure their moment was captured perfectly. 

The relationship between the couple does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. They recently celebrated their 7th anniversary in June 2018.

Meanwhile, Reyes is a singer and rapper who formed the band Group 1 Crew in 2003. His group collected Dove Awards five times for their contribution in Christian Songs.               

Johnson says the couple does not want children, although they enjoy spending time with their nieces and nephews.

Anjelah Johnson's Career  

Johnson started her career as a comedian back in 2006. A year later in 2007, she joined the cast of sketch comedy show MADtv. She featured as several characters on the show until 2008.

In 2008, Anjelah was nominated for 'ALMA Award for Outstanding Female Performance in a Comedy Television Series' for her impressive work on MADtv.

Johnson was granted her own one-hour Comedy Central special, 'Anjelah Johnson: That’s How We Do It' in 2009. She subsequently appeared in movies such as Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Our Family Wedding. Moreover, she voiced several characters in the film Marmaduke (2010).       

In 2013, she reprised her role as her MADtv character Bon Qui Qui. It was for a skit released by Alexander Wang. Her second stand-up comedy special show was titled, Homecoming Show.  

Johnson’s third stand-up special filmed in Southern California, entitled Anjelah Johnson: Not Fancy was released on Netflix on 1st October 2015.
