Walt Disney and Marvel's Black Panther giving no chance to other films as it continues to rule the box office on the third Friday of domestic release. With the collection of $62.6 M in the third week; $16.304M on Friday alone, Black Panther has crossed the $450M mark. The film was initially released on January 29 while was released on February 16 in the USA. The film which was made under $200M has already collected over $750M and is bound to collect over $800M by Saturday.

  • Black Panther has crossed $450M mark on its third Friday of domestic release with a staggering collection of $451.7m.
  • Walt Disney and Marvel's Black Panther has now tied the Jurassic World's record which also crossed $450m domestic collection within 15 days.
  • The Ryan Coogler flick has the fourth-highest 15-day Friday total of all time just behind Jurassic World ($460 million), The Last Jedi ($483.7m) and The Force Awakens ($686.3m)
  •  By the end of the weekend, the movie will be ranked as the 2nd highest grossing movie of Marvel running over Avengers: Age of Ultron's $459M and standing behind Avengers' $623M.

Saturday night has been a huge turning point for a movie, so will be for it, and with no doubt, it will hit $500M by Sunday. Even if it fails to reach the half-billion mark by the weekend, it will be ranked as the second-highest grossing Marvel movie, surpassing Avengers: Age of Ultron ($459M) and standing behind Avengers ($623M).

The Ryan Coogler flick only took 15 days to cross $450M domestic collection, tying the record with the Jurassic World. The Last Jedi crossed the mark in 14 days while The Force Awakens did the deed in impressive nine days.

Chadwick Boseman starrer superhero flick has now the fourth-biggest 15-day Friday total of all time standing behind Jurassic World ($460M), The Last Jedi ($483.7M), and The Force Awakens ($686.3M). Meanwhile, the $16.3M Friday collection is the fifth-biggest ''day 15'' Friday of all time.
