News anchor, Camila Orti who has been working for Fox 12 Oregon already served other news networks. And, previously, Orti served as a reporter for ABC 8 and since that time, Orti had been in a relationship with her then-boyfriend turned husband, Johnny Ruthford.

And, Orti had no idea, that one day, her boyfriend would pop the life-changing question live on TV while she would be doing her regular job. So, the story goes back to October 2013 when Orti was working for KLKN stations on-air and about to telecast the daily news.

Orti was just announcing a report of a boyfriend traveling hours to propose to his girlfriend, not knowing the story was about her. And, as she had just begun speaking, Orti's boyfriend just pops up in front of her and gets on his knees with a diamond ring in his hands.

FYI, Johnny nervously can be heard saying, "I love you," to his girlfriend who is in complete shock before getting emotional with tears. Of course, Camila said yes with happy tears and later uploaded the whole scenario of her engagement on her YouTube channel which has amassed more than two million views.

News reporter Camila Orti and her boyfriend-turned-fiance, Johnny Ruthford didn't want to rush into getting married away and waited for almost two years before they were ready to walk down the aisle.

And, the time finally arrived on 6th June 2015 when Camila and her partner tied the knot in an intimate and outdoor-themed wedding ceremony surrounded by a few close family members and friends.

Orti made a beautiful bride in a sleeveless v-plunge white bridal dress by opting to keep her dark hair flowing freely. Orti's groom also looked handsome as he rocked a matching grey suit and pants.

Five years later, Camila and her husband are still going stronger and celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary in 2021. And, although the lovebirds are yet to start a family of their own, they are already parents to their two furbabies.

Camila Orti is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she studied Broadcast Journalism. Although Orti was brought up in Nebraska by her immigrant parents from Argentina, she was born in New York.

But, of course, since 2019 after she joined Fox 12 Oregon following her departures from Nebraska where she worked for KKLN and KETV, Camila has been based in Oregon where she was led by her occupation.

The runner-up of the 2013 National Championship has also worked overseas including in New Delhi where she made reports on the demographic status of homelessness and the issues faced by women in rural and traditional areas.

In addition to Orti who is fluent in Spanish, Orti enjoys cycling, reading, traveling cooking empanadas, trail running, lake swimming, and running for marathons. Not to mention, Orti already participated in and completed a shocking five Half Ironman races.
