Shockingly in May 2020, Powell took over to his Instagram page to share the heartbreaking news with his half a million followers that he was splitting from his wife along with a selfie of the two. Chris wrote a long statement to announce he and Heidi were divorcing.
Powell, however, clarified in a positive tone that he and his former wife will still remain good friends to strengthen their relationship as a friend and parents to their two children. The Arizona native also mentioned he and Heidi are both grateful to have shared their relationship over the years.
