Eventually, after staying in a romantic relationship for over a while, Ryan proposed to his love Melissa in her house while having dinner with her family. Excited lady, Melissa immediately gave positive feedback saying yes to his proposal.

Everything set, the lovebirds planned for marriage and ended up tying the knot at Ryan’s hometown, Woodbridge on 7th September 2008.

"Lo and behold, two weeks into my new work schedule, I unexpectedly, but happily, became pregnant! We were able to get through the constant disappointment and frustration by keeping the dialogue open and honest between us, and never hiding how we were feeling. We also asked each other, what is the worst-case scenario, and could we handle it and still be happy? The answer was a resounding yes, we could handle it and still live a happy, full life together. Once we knew and accepted that, we were able to face whatever came our way."

As from the reports, the internet monks used her name, circulating rumors of her departure from the show in 2018. The scam swirled up the internet that flooded tons of question from fans commenting if she was actually quitting.
Meanwhile, Melissa responded to the rumor giving a clarification through her Instagram on 10 September 2018. In the post, she admitted that the insidious online scam party used her name and picture, spreading fake news.
