"Harvey Weinstein isn’t here tonight because I’ve heard rumors that he’s crazy and difficult to work with.
But don’t worry, he’ll be back in 20 years when he becomes the first person ever booed during the In Memoriam. It will sound like that."
Meyers who hosts Late Night with Seth Meyers received grand applause from everyone although his jokes were pretty awkward and tricky. But they definitely lightened up the whole event.

"A lot of people thought it would be more appropriate for a woman to host tonight's show, and they might be right, but if it makes you feel any better I have absolutely no power in Hollywood."

"Oprah while I have you, in 2011 I told some jokes about our current president at the White House Correspondents Dinner — jokes about how he was unqualified to be president, and some say that night convinced him to run. And if that’s true I want to say, Oprah, you will never be president! You do not have what it takes to be president. And [Tom] Hanks. Where's Hanks? You will never be vice president."
Despite the jokes and slams, powerful speeches and statement of unity and sexual equality dominated the Sunday's 75th Golden Globe Awards.
