An American television host, comedian, producer, actor, and writer, Seth Meyers is a son of Laurence Meyers, Jr., who worked in finance and Hilary Claire (née Olson), a French teacher. He attended and graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, where he became a member of the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta. He continued his career at ImprovOlympic with the group Preponderate as well as overseas as a cast member of Boom Chicago, an English language improv troupe based in Amsterdam.
Seth Meyers tied the knot with Alexi Ashe, a human rights lawyer, on September 1, 2013, at Martha's Vineyard. Their son, Ashe Olson Meyers, was born at Lenox Hill Hospital on March 27, 2016. He's won Writers Guild of America Award for Comedy/Variety (Music, Awards, Tributes) – Specials 71st Golden Globe Awards in 2015. In 2014 Meyers hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards. In April 2011, Seth Meyers was the keynote speaker at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

Seth Meyers was born on December 28, 1973, in Evanston, Illinois. He is the son of Laurence Meyers and Hilary Meyers. His father worked in Finance while his mother was a French teacher. He was raised by his parents in Okemos, Michigan.
Meyers went to Edgewood Elementary for early education. Later, he joined Manchester High School West. Graduating from Manchester, Seth Meyers joined Northwestern University.

During his time at Northwest University, Meyers began performing improv comedy. He later appeared with Brendan Fraser and Anita Briem in the 2008 3D film Journey to the Center of the Earth. However, he is best known for hosting Late Night with Seth Meyers, a late-night talk show that airs on NBC.
Meyers was also a head writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live (2001–2014) and hosted the show's news parody segment, Weekend Update. Moreover, he hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014 and voiced the character Jeremy "Prock" Awesome in The Awesomes (2013–2015). In 2018, Meyers hosted the 75th Golden Globe Awards.
