It was a hard day at work for Jay-Z when he came back home upon knowing his marriage is in danger. And the reason being his own infidelity towards his wife, Beyonce.

One could imagine how could someone cheat on a woman like her. But unlike many other stars, the rapper admitted his shortcomings and that he cheated on her.

He made this big revelation in an interview with The New York Times Style Magazine. In the interview, he stated how he cheated on his wife and how the pair remained strong despite all the problem.

He stated,

“You know, most people walk away, and like divorce rate is like 50 percent or something ’cause most people can’t see themselves. The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself. So, you know, most people don’t want to do that. You don’t want to look inside yourself. And so you walk away.”

The 47-year-old rapper never walked away from his marriage. Instead, he tried fixing it and look where they are right now.

Though it wasn't very easy. It get's 100 times more difficult to manage your personal life when the media wants to know everything and at the same time, you are thinking about your marriage.

In 2013, Solange Knowles accused him of cheating, though her sister Beyonce stayed silent on the issue. He also revealed music was their therapy in the difficult time.

Beyonce's album Lemonade was solely focused on his cheating allegations whereas his album 4:44 was him asking for forgiveness.

But alls well that ends well, the pair is now parents to three children, as they recently welcomed twins, Rumi and Sir in June. They are also parents to 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

The power pair has a cumulated net worth of $1.16 billion.
