Jennifer Aniston and her husband of two and a half year, Justin Theroux have split amicably, announced their publicist in a statement on Thursday, 15 February. They revealed that they separated last year; however, they were captured celebrating New Year together with their close friends including Jason Bateman and his family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Aniston met Theroux first time on the Hawaii set of 2008's Tropic Thunder; however, they started dating in 2011 only. They became engaged after a year of relationship in August 2012, and three years later, they married secretly in a private ceremony on August 5, 2015, days before Theroux's 44th birthday.

Friends star Jennifer Aniston and her husband of two and a half year, Justin Theroux have split amicably, announced their publicist in a statement on Thursday, 15 February.

The 49-year-old actress' longtime publicist Stephen Huvane said in the statement,

In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation.

He continued, 

This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.

 The statement further continues,

Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.

They revealed that they separated last year; however, they were captured celebrating New Year together with their close friends including Jason Bateman and his family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Aniston recently made her single appearance at Ellen DeGeneres' 60th birthday party on Saturday, 10th February where she was spotted chatting with Pharrell outside the Hollywood venue.

The following day, the Horrible Bosses starlet celebrated her 49th birthday without her husband, Theroux. Aniston celebrated the get together in Malibu, California with her pals including Courtney Cox, Kristin Hahn, Andrea Bendewald, and Leigh Kilton.

Meanwhile, the actor was seen in New York during the weekend. On Friday, 9th Feb., Theroux was spotted walking his dog in the city.
