The Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has been enjoying her single life after her divorce with husband Dominic Cotton in 2014. Cotton is a former sports correspondent.

Though 47-year-old journalist and television host confessed last year that she has no time for dating and also she is happy being single since her divorce, it seems like she is ready to be in a relationship again.

Talking to her co-host Piers Morgan in Good Morning Britain, Reid said:

"I think I'll probably at some stage hopefully have another relationship, but not marriage."

In an interview with Times last April, Reid said:

“A new relationship at this age and stage would take an enormous amount of emotional energy. I’m not ruling it out, but I’m just saying right now it’s not likely. I don’t need anything else."

She added:

"When I’m with my children, I want to be properly with them. "They’re not going to be around at home for ever."

But in her interview with Daily Mail in September, Reid disclosed that she dated on and off, however, ultimately she is single again.

She revealed:

"I haven’t been single the entire time – and occasionally there are times when I’m not single – but dating is very distracting. I haven’t got time for it."

She also added she is busy with her children than dating:

"I’ve got a really busy life. I’m up at a crazy time of the morning. "My work is really intense, very enjoyable and very absorbing. I have three boys who need my full attention."

Reid also revealed that she is single and shared that she feels better being single. 

Susanna Reid and Dominic Cotton's Marriage Details

Reid and her former husband Dominic Cotton tied the knot in 1998. They together are blessed with three sons. Their first son, Sam Cotton was born in 2002. Reid gave birth to their second and third son, Finn Cotton and Jack Cotton in 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Reid and her husband Cotton separated after 16 years of married life. Soon after the separation, Cotton joined the dating website Match.com and described himself as "currently separated" and wrote he is seeking for women aged between 35-45 in his profile.

The divorce was finalized in 2014. Reportedly, Reid and Cotton still live together in the same house in Balham, south London for the sake of their three sons. 

Reid said:

“We have a different relationship (now), which is good. There have been feelings hurt along the way, obviously, but Dom and I had a takeaway together last night, a good chat and he's a great friend of mine. You don't throw 16 years away.

She added:

“We still get on so well, Dom is such a hands-on dad and we really co-parent. So we live separately but together and happily in the same house. I'm not saying everybody can do it (and) I definitely think people are surprised that we can do it this way."

Cotton currently has a new girlfriend.
