"Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me on December 31, 2011," Katy said, asserting a cold separation.   

Before venturing into her another famous relationship with singer John Mayer, Perry had several rumored romances, including with guitarist Robert Ackroyd and model Baptiste Giabiconi. The Thinking of You singer and Mayer, a multiple-Grammy-winning singer, dated on and off between 2012 to 2014. Perry's perpetual dating streak went on, with reports emerging that the American Idol judge was seeing English actor Robert Pattinson. Perry's past dating history doesn't portray Perry as a long-term kind of girl, but in contrast to the pattern, the California-born has been in an enduring, albeit bumpy, relationship with English actor Orlando Bloom, best known for his roles in The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and Pirates of the Caribbean.   

The high-profile pair started dating in early 2016 and made their relationship official in the summer. Perry and Bloom have since matched each other's energies and indulged in weird antics, including nude paddleboarding during a vacation, dressing up as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on Halloween, and more. The pair had a brief split in early 2017 before bouncing right back to their adorable self.   

Perry and Bloom got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019. "You have to do the groundwork together, create a feeling of trust and safety so that you can spend time apart and do everything that you need to do, and still feel tethered to that person," Bloom said about his relationship with Perry in a rare interview. The twosome's awaited nuptial might seem like a drag, but as per the two, they want the event planned to perfection. The couple welcomed their firstborn, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020.
