Lamar Odom Reveals He Was A Sex Addict and Slept with Over 2,000 Women in his Book, Darkness to Light

Lamar Odom is releasing his memoir titled, Darkness to Light in which he discusses his addiction to Drugs and Women.

NBA star Lamar Odom is about to release his first book titled "Darkness to Light" and the book quite literally explains his life. Recently, the former NBA star opened up about his past life, his addiction with both drugs and sex. 

According to the two-times NBA Championship winner, in the course of his life, he slept with over 2,000 women, with many including strippers. In his latest upcoming memoir, the 39-year-old said,

“There were too many strippers to count,” he writes. “It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them.”

Almost his entire adulthood, Odom struggled with the ordeal and he didn't saw any end to it. But then he met Khloe Kardashian, his first and only wife and at that time he thought she may stir up his bad habits. Though it never changed anything as Lamar continued with his addiction and even slept around with other women all the while being married to Khloe, he himself admitted.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star eventually found out about his off the marriage conquests. Lamar stated how utterly ashamed and humiliated he became after his wife found about all the infidelities.

Khloe and Lamar were married from 2009 to 2016. The Reality TV star filed for divorce after countless incidents of Lamar's cheating surfaced.

And wait, that's not all! The former Los Angeles Lakers play went on the record to reveal he was also addicted to porn. He maintains sex was a trigger for him to indulge in drugs. Apparently, drugs after a sexual encounter were like doubling up the "Good Feeling."

Back in 2015, Lamar had an up close call with death when he od'd on drugs at the Love Ranch Brothel in Las Vegas. For Lamar, the moment worked as a wake-up call. 

“That was the wake-up call. Like, this can’t happen again.”

At the moment, Lamar is working his way towards being a drug-free man. But he is now hell bound on never going into the darkness and almost certainly won't ever touch drugs again. 

The book, Darkness To Night will release on May 28.
