The adoring Hollywood couple took the next big step over the weekend. Alex Rodriguez, 43, and Jennifer Lopez, 49, got engaged on Saturday night.

Well, just three days after he popped the question, Alex and bride-to-be lady Lopez shared their first romantic photos picked from his beachside proposal in the Bahamas. A professional photographer was on the location to capture the special moment who seemingly coordinated the duo.

On Tuesday, in his Instagram post, the retired New York Yankee is seen wearing white jeans, and a grey sweater along with white sneakers.

Alex got down in his knees as J. Lo is all teary eyed.

The adorable lady who wore an elegant white skirt and tan sandals smiles surprisingly while Alex on his knee, proposes the lady with World Series ring, popping the question at sunset.

“She said yes,” Rodriguez, captioned one of their romantic pictures when Lopez accepted a massive diamond engagement ring as he held her hand. Most importantly, reports suggest that the giant rock is estimated to be worth up to $5 million.

Meanwhile, the athlete shared a picture of himself and Jennifer kissing passionately after the proposal, where he captioned; “Locking it down.  #futuremrsrodriguez”. Lopez shared the same image on her wall, as well as three more photos.

Alex and Jennifer have been dating for some time now and marriage is definitely on cards.

In the meantime, alongside a photo from the proposal where he kissed Lopez’s forehead, Rodriguez opened up about their engagement in his Instagram story the same night.

“There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy. We know there is work to do to keep building a family and future we can be proud of, and we can’t do it without all of you. We are so thankful for all your messages of love and congratulations.”
