A renowned American journalist who already served as the Correspondent of the White House, Susan Page is blissfully married to her boyfriend turned husband of nearly forty years, Carl Leubsdorf.

Moreover, Page and her husband who has been married since 22nd May 1982 had a Christian wedding with a small gathering at their Washington home. Their wedding was officiated by Pastor Rev. Jerry Musick who represents the Christian Heritage Assembly of God Church.

Family members including Page's parents including father Robert Page - the President of investment holding company, Garvey Inc., sister Jill Page Brooks who served as the matron of honor for the bride, and mother-in-law, Bartha Leubsdorf who served as the President for Hunter College Scholarship and Welfare Fund also attended the wedding.

The only close family member missing was Page's late father-in-law Karl Leubsdork, who was the investment adviser for Carl H. Pforzheimer & Company. FYI, both parents of Page's husband are Jewish immigrants who escaped from Germany in pre-World War-II.

Meanwhile, as this was Susan Page's first marriage with her husband Carl Leubsdorf, it was the second one for the former Washington bureau chief for Dallas Morning who was previously married to his first wife, late Carolyn Cleveland Stockmeyer.

Although what caused Carl and Carl to divorce is not known, political differences might have been a reason. While Leubsdorf is a registered Democrat, Stockmeyer was a Republican who even worked as a finance communication director for Republican National Committee from 1982 - 1989.

And, ironically, Leubsdorf was the second husband of Stockmeyer who was previously married to her first husband Edwin William Stockmeyer until his death. Stockmeyer and Edwin also shared children.

Carl Leubsdorf and former wife Carolyn Stockmeyer also had a son named Carl P. Leubsdorf Jr. together who served as the best man at his father's wedding with Page, the graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Leubsdorf's son who lived in Chevy Chase, Md.

Not to mention, Susan, the moderator of Vice Presidential debate 2020 between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence and husband Carl are also parents to their children, a son named Ben Leubsdorf and a daughter named Will Mellencamp Leubsdorf.

But, Page, who isn't affiliated with any Political party has maintained a great relationship with her step-son, especially after the death of Carolyn who died in 1999 from lung cancer at the age of 67.
