1.) Bacteria

One of the main caused of any type of illness you get. Be it fever, stomach pain, ulcers, etc, etc.

Different type of bacteria which cause food-related illness are, Salmonella, Campylobacter jejune, Shigella, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Vibrio, and Clostridium botulinum. 

These bacteria's are found in uncooked meat, dairy foods, seafood, undercooked pizza or hamburger.

2.) Virus

These little buggers are even smaller than bacteria, but you know what they say, 'Small things come in big packages.' These can enter your body when you eat food cooked by an already sick person, or eat contaminated water, like packed fruit juice.

3.) Parasites

If you have the bad habit of not washing your hands after coming taking a trip to the washroom, then my friend your body is becoming a breeding for the parasites.

Although these parasites are pretty rare in developed countries like the United States, prevention is better than cure.

4.) Chemicals

As we talked earlier, even your healthiest of foods and vegetables contain chemicals as they are generally created artificially.

Some common food items containing chemicals are certain types of fish which feeds on poisonous plants, wild mushrooms, and unwashed vegetables and fruits.

  • 1.) Cook your food properly, be it veggies or meat. Any type of uncooked meal can often lead to various infectious disease which in turn hampers your health.
  • 2.) Boost your immunity by exercising and eating healthy food daily. Try to take some out from your busy lives and exercise on a regular basis, be it for even 10 minutes.
  • 3.) Avoid foods that can cause your mental and physical health to deteriorate. Food can cause your body to feel lazy and sleepy all day.
