Adam Levine Loves Being a Dad of Three: "I Embrace It"

Adam Levine is a proud father of three and he loves it: The Maroon 5 frontman and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, welcomed their third kid earlier this year.

Never a dull moment: Adam Levine and his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, welcomed their third baby on January 28, 2023, and three may seem like a crowd but the Maroon 5 frontman is absolutely loving it. Appearing on the On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, Levine describes his extended brood as "It's zoned defense, as they say. It's awesome." The 43-year-old adds, "I love the chaos. I embrace the chaos," after host Seacrest congratulates him on his "trifecta" of children.  

Levine and Prinsloo, with whom he tied the knot in July 2014 after two years of dating. The duo welcomed their firstborn, Dusty Rose, in September 2016, and Gio Grace, in February 2018. The now-father of three shares how his bigger family has added to the need for a bigger vehicle. "I pushed hard for the minivan, but that just got kiboshed," Levine explains, adding, "I see a minivan as you just bought into a whole new thing. You can make your minivan whatever you want. It could be like this spectacular spaceship of fun."   

 The singer and model couple shared their pregnancy news in September and in a previous interview, also alluded to wanting a big family. "We always knew we wanted a second one. So I think for me in those two years, when I had two babies under the age of 2," Behati shared. The Victoria's Secret model added, "you know what, never say never. We want a big family, who knows? We're leaving it up to fate and just what happens."  

The Girls Like You hitmaker's chat about his family comes ahead of his band's Las Vegas residency. Levine explains how his upcoming residency, which will commence on March 24, is a suited stint for his family life. "You got a family, wife, and kids, this life that has at home you don't want to it leave too often as life goes on," the singer shares, adding, "so it's nice to go to Vegas, come home, go to Vegas, come home. We live very close to there."   

Adam and Behati's marriage was hit by a cheating scandal amid Prinsloo's pregnancy, which caused a massive internet backlash against Levine, who later denied having an affair, but admitted to his immoral behavior, which he described as "poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner." Instagram model Sumner Stroh, sharing a string of text exchanges between the two, alleged that she and the Maroon 5 frontman and had an affair for a year.   

"I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life," Levine said in his statement. "I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family are all I care about in this world," the father of three added.
