Chipotle & Other Companies Cut Ties With David Dobrik After R*pe Allegation
David Dobrik and fellow associates of the YouTuber have been removed from partnership and sponsorship deals by most of the advertising companies they worked with. In case, you missed out, here's what you need to know.
David Dobrik, one of the highest-earning YouTubers recently came into the limelight for a severe controversy that involves rape and other sexual assaults. Following the recent allegations of rape, many companies including Chipotle cut their ties with Dobrik and his associates.
The allegation of rape came under the light after a woman who chose to be named Hannah for privacy concern came forward to speak about the wrongdoings that happened to her with Insider who published an article on the subject on their websites.

SOURCE: Instagram According to the victim, Hannah alleged that she was assaulted while working on a video with Dobrik and his fellow YouTube group members called Vlog Squad in 2018. The woman also claimed that she was forcefully given alcohol to drink despite being underage and illegal to drink at the time.
In addition, Hannah also disclosed that she became too unconscious after becoming drunk. And, the next thing she realized, she was involved in group sex and mentioned that Dobrik's friend, Dominykas Zeglaitis, now a former member of Vlog Squad was also one of the members among those r*pists.
Matter of fact, Hannah even claimed that Dobrik had filmed her go into the bedroom of Zeglaitis who also goes by the name of Durte Dom. But, of course, David and his Vlog Squad members edited the video without including those sex acts.
David Dorik has been dropped by companies that sponsored him after the r*pe allegations. SOURCE: Twitter (Pop Crave) The video then posted under the name 'SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE PLAYED WITH FIRE!!' was then watched 5 million times. But, after Hanna requested to delete the video from Dobrik's channel, the video is no longer available on the platform.
Since the allegation has surfaced, Dobrik has stepped down as the co-founder of his photo app called Dispo. And, other companies including HBO Max, Hello Fresh, EA Sports, and Spark Capital - the investor of Dispo have also cut ties with Dobrik and his Vlog Squad members.
Meanwhile, David shared a video on social media to apologize sharing that he is in disbelief that his friend would do something like that. The 24 years old prankster also talked about how important consent is to him and that he asks people for their permission before he puts them in his videos.
But, since the law and cops were not involved with the case by Hannah, Dobrik and his alleged friends are free with having no further legal action being taken against them.
