Entire Family Of Stefanie Dolson Tested Positive For COVID-19

Basketball champion is another celebrity to be listed on the record of those affected by the pandemic Coronavirus in the US.

New York-born and bred, Stefanie Dolson of Chicago Sky reveals she was exposed to COVID-19 during one of the recent interviews with ESPN. 

Speaking to the news channel on Friday during the WNBA draft, Dolson said she wasn't the only one, as her family members were affected by the deadly virus too.

According to the Chicago Sky's center, her mother, Kristal Dolson was the first to be tested Corona positive last month after suffering serious symptoms like pneumonia. And then, she had to be admitted to the hospital for four days.

Following the result, Stefanie, her father, Steve Dolson, and all os her siblings were also tested. And to the horror of the deadly virus, all of their results also came out positive.

Stefanie is one of the four children of her parents including sisters, Ashley Dolson, Courtney Dolson, and brother Jake Dolson. All family members of the Basketball pro was tested a month ago.

Dolson who started her profession in the WNBA since her college days at UConn in 2010, is the first one from Chicago to be affected by Corona, according to Phil Thompson of the Chicago Tribute.

Thankfully, Stefanie's health condition was never that bad as shared by Michael Alter, the principal of the team. Not to mention, she was also reportedly given concern over her treatment choices by WNBA who also consulted the doctors and health experts from the University of Chicago Medicine.

Dolson is also grateful for the health workers taking care of her mother and everyone touched by the virus which had its first major outbreak in China.

In her words, she said: "I just want to say thank you to all the health care workers out there. What you're doing is inspirational and amazing, putting your lives at risk for us and helping the community and the country. I just want to say thank you."

The mother of the former Washington Mystics, Mrs. Dolson is now doing well and fine whilst she recovers at home. In addition, Stefanie has also been in quarantine after returning home following the suspension of the Basketball season.

In addition, Von Miller of is also another notable athlete tested positive for the virus. As of April 2010, more than 2,359,343 people have been affected by Corona whilst 161,951 lost their lives.
