Von Miller Tested Positive For COVID-19; Denver Broncos Confirms
As per the latest statement released by Denver Broncos, their linebacker Von Miller has been exposed to Coronavirus.
Three times NFL champion Denver Broncos made an announcement through a statement on Thursday that their MVP Von Miller has been tested positive for COVID-19.
The 31 years old alum of Texas A&M University who was drafted for NFL's All Decade Team for the 2010s experienced flu-like symptoms that made him consider taking the test.
"Von has elected to share his diagnosis publicly to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with coronavirus," said the statement shared on Denver Broncos's website.
Miller, however, is isolating at home for his road to recovery from the deadly virus which has taken the lives of more than 147000+ people across the globe. The United States alone had witnessed nearly 35K deaths by far.
The statement further said, "He remains under the care of team doctors, who are following all coronavirus treatment procedures to ensure a safe environment for Von and our community," before adding that the Texas-born os teh first player in the team to be tested positive for COVID-19.
Miller was upfront to update over his wellbeing to KUSA and says his girlfriend was the one who noticed something was strange about his cough. In addition, he also suffered asthma along with cough.
But Miller admits he is in a good spirit citing that he doesn't feel sick or hurting so far. And, since the news surfaced celebrities and teammates have publicly wished him for a speedy recovery.
Jamal Adams of New York Jets, NFL Network insider; Ian Rapoport, and Steve Atwater are some of those who tweeted to express their wishes for Miller's wellbeing.
Apart from Von, Cristina Cuomo is one of the recent celebrities to be tested positive for the pandemic virus that had its first outbreak in China.
