Jonnie Irwin, a host of BBC's Escape to the Country, opened up about his lung cancer that has spread to his brain. Recently, Let Go From A Place In The Sun gave him the boot after the sad news.
Jonnie Irwin kept his cancer diagnosis under the radar for two years, fearing he would miss out on television work if bosses found out how serious his illness was. The guy first noticed his health was degrading while shooting the episode of "Place in The Sun" in Italy.
The former A Place in the Sun star told the home abroad that shows executive was expelled when he was ill and disclosed Irwin prevented announcing his identification as he was determined to make sure he could provide for his family.

Describing to the show producer, Jonnie was disheartened and desperate to prove he could continue working. " We don't think we can get the insurance. We cant get the insurance, but we don't think," Irwin said. Also, Irwin continued that he decided against talking about his tragic news earlier.
