Kaley Cuoco Welcomes First Child with Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey's firstborn is here and the first-time parents are "overjoyed." The pair's daughter arrives almost five months after Cuoco shared the news of her pregnancy back in October. Kaley and Pelphrey were a few months into their dating bliss, so, the news did take many by surprise. "Baby Pelphrey coming 2023," Kaley had written while sharing a slideshow of her pregnancy. Cuoco reveals that her daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, was born on Thursday. 

Debuting her baby on the platform, Cuoco wrote, "3-30-23. Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives." We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days." The Flight Attendant star adds, "we are blessed beyond belief. @tommypelphrey didn't think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did."    

Excited fans and fellow celebs swiftly flocked to Cuoco and Tom's Instagram to congratulate the twosome on their milestone. Hilary Duff, Josh Gad, Zooey Deschanel, and Olivia Munn, were some of the many stars who sent the first-time parents their love and wishes. Cuoco's beau, Pelphrey, 40, shares that he is feeling as happy and grateful. Quoting poet Rumi, the Ozark actor writes, "you are the soul of the universe, and your name is love."  

 The actor adds, "my heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle. Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible," alongside a carousel of loved-up snaps. The smitten pair, who've been dating since early May 2022, have been candid about their relationship and pregnancy. A source recently revealed how the pair have found their soulmates in each other.  

"She is very much in love and gets along great with Tom which makes things even better. She has found her soulmate," an insider said. Another source added, "Kaley is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work. She thinks Pelphrey will be a hands-on dad." 

Kaley, who is best known for her roles in 8 Simple Rules, The Big Bang Theory, and The Flight Attendant, was fresh out of her marriage with equestrian Karl Cook in 2022 when she started dating Pelphrey. The actress married Cook in 2018 and finalized her divorce from him in June 2022. Kaley was married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from December 2013 to September 2015.
