Kate Bosworth Files for Divorce 11 Months after Split from Husband Michael Polish

Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish filed for divorce in Los Angeles following nearly a year of their parting ways. The Blue Crush actress has now moved on with the actor named Justin Long.

It's over for Kate Bosworth and her husband, the 51-year-old director Michael Polish who announced their separation 11 months ago, following eight years of union. The 39-year-old actress filed for divorce in Los Angeles to dissolve their marriage.

The cause of their split is said to be an irreconcilable difference. In August 2021, the duo confirmed parting their ways on Instagram with a long-gushing tribute about their love affair while sharing a photo of them kissing.

"The beginning is often the best part of love. Split a burger with someone when you are falling in love, and you can die happily knowing this is your last ealm," the former flames captioned with several paragraphs in the post.

The ex-couple continued," Buy a bottle of whiskey and share shots, pour me a waterfall. Play that perfect song on the jukebox and dance with someone you have known your whole life, though you met minute ago. This is love. And we will drink that down. Kate + Michael."

To add up, the two feared ending and losing what they had. Their hearts were full, as they have never been so deeply grateful for one another as they do in this decision to separate.

In the process of letting go, the duo acknowledges that their love will never end. The connection doesn't simply go away. The heart expands, and love deepens.

What happens when we reach the end of something and realize, we are just at the beginning," the pair added.

Not to mention, the Blue Crush star, as per Blast magazine, Kate and Polish, got hitched in 2013, and Bosworth is a stepmother to Polish's kid from his past marriage. Kate shares no children with Polish and has moved on with another actor named Justin Long; the lovebirds started dating in 2021.
