Kim Kardashian Reportedly Divorced Kanye West - Rapper Couldn't Keep Up With The Kardashians?
Kimye is officially over peep as TV star Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce to now-former husband, Kanye West, according to several US reports.
Kim Kardashian and her husband of the last seven years are only one step away from being legally separated as the 40 years old TV personality has filed for divorce. It's not confirmed whether West has already filed for divorce yet.
Kardashian has been lowkey about her split from West and the whole divorce procedures. But, TMZ and their eagled-eyes team are sure and confirmed about the divorce.
Apparently, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sought a famous divorce lawyer in Hollywood, Laura Wasser for legal divorce support and is also seeking the joint legal and physical custody of her children she shares with Kanye.
Things went downhill between the high-profile celebrity couple last year after the Runaway hitmaker started having public outbreaks with his bipolar disorder where he once spilled that his wife wanted to abort their first child, North West, during a public mental breakdown.
Kardashian later pleaded with fans to show love and compassion to the rapper while expressing the stigma of bipolar disorder and mental health. And, as per reports, divorce was imminent after the incident.
The news of split and divorce also spread after the Skims founder told fans on Instagram that Keeping Up With the Kardashian was coming to an end with its final season airing in March 2021.
Kardashian and her now estranged husband had also been living separately since last year with the rapper moving to his home in Wyoming where fans spread fake rumors that he romanced YouTuber Jeffree Stars who also lives in the same city.
As for Kim, the beauty mogul has been living in the couple's home in Calabasas with her kids near her siblings and family. And, one of the reasons behind their split is also reportedly blamed on the differences in their political stances and lifestyles as West grew more religious in recent years and endorsed Trump for the presidential election.
Kardashian had known West for years since the early 2000s before the rapper romantically approached the budding lawyer in 2012. The pair began dating soon after that and had their first child in 2013 prior to their lavish wedding in May 2014.
Aside from North, Kim and Kanye are also parents to sons Saint West, Psalm West, and daughter Chicago West.
