Lil Nas X releases controversial Pregnancy Photoshoots - Singer breaks the Internet
Looks like Lil Nas X, 22, broke the internet again. On September 17, Thursday, Lil posted a fake baby bump while announcing he's pregnant. The shoot was to promote Montero, Lil Nas X's debut album is about to be released.
The Grammy-winning hip-hop superstar Lil Nas X feels like a proud parent now that his debut album 'Montero, is about to release.
And, in celebration of the album release, Lil did an over-the-top pregnancy shoot. On Sep 17 on Instagram, the musician posted a series of maternity photos showing him caresses his protruding prosthetic pregnancy bump.
Well, The Old Town Road Hitmaker gushed while captioning the shoot- "SURPRISE! I can't believe I'm finally announcing this. My little bundle of joy "MONTERO," is due September 17, 2021."
In the image shot by filmmaker Adrian Per, the singer appeared in a sheet white robe with a crown of white roses while holding a roses bouquet. Lil Nas X also posted an edited image of his cover album cover imposed onto an ultrasound pic.
In the same vein, Lil Nas X is eagerly anticipated to debut his 'Montero' on Sep 17 via Columbia Records. The music artist jokingly said that he's both father and mother as for the baby's parents. But the producers who worked on the albums are also his dad.
Apparently, Nas, who did the outrageous publicity stunt, came up with a pregnancy photo shoot idea while listening to Megan Thee Stallion's verse on his new song Dolla Sign Slime.
But, the critics felt his maternity shoot was a bit too cringe. When the media attention became a little overwhelming for him, Montero Hill tweeted: "let me get offline, all of this negative energy is not good for the baby."
The debut album "Montero" comprises the singles "Industry Baby" and "Sun Goes Down," as well as the hit title track features guests singers like Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, and Elton John.
Further, the Hip-hop star came out publicly as gay during the last day of Pride Month. In a tweet, the rapper urged people to listen to his song 'closure' and included a rainbow emoji in the post.
Apart from this, almost in the past two years, the 22-year-old music artist surfaced over the headline numerous times using the digital platforms, including bolster sales of his best-selling children's book and queer-themed music videos promotions.
The singer also caused a backlash when after a partnership with the product company MSCHF. Nike's shoe brand filed a lawsuit against Lil over the manufacture of a limited-edition line of modified Nike sneakers 'Satan Shoes.'
