Nick Cannon announces the birth of his 10th baby: His third with Brittany Bell! Complete Story Here
Television show host Nick Cannon is hereby a father of ten babies, that's one short of a football team. The 41-year-old announced the birth of his tenth kid, his third with Brittany Bell, on Instagram on Friday. Nick's newborn, who he has named Rise Messiah Cannon, arrives just nine days after he welcomed his ninth born, daughter Onyx Ice, with LaNisha Cole.
"Another blessing," Nick writes on the post, where he and Brittany and their two babies can be seen commemorating the birth of the third Cannon-Bell baby. Cannon continues in the lengthy caption, "As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps."
Cannon, whose hosting credits include The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out, The Masked Singer, and America's Got Talent, might come off as a reckless man, one on a journey to break a ridiculous record of having the most babies with multiple women, but the host-turned-actor has time and again stated that his babies aren't the result of unplanned pregnancies or accidents.
Nick lost a son to brain cancer in December 2021!
"I've given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I'm doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be," Cannon said during the birth of his daughter Ice recently. The father of ten has received much criticism for his untraditional views and strike on monogamy. Online critics have called out the actor on many grounds relating subject, including breeding unnecessarily in an already overpopulated world.
"There's a Eurocentric concept when you think about the ideas of you're supposed to have this one person for the rest of your life," Cannon said about having kids with multiple women. He adds, "I understand the institution of marriage if we go back to what that was about. ... I don't have ownership of any of the mothers. We create families in the sense of we created a beautiful entity."
Cannon shares 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, son Legendary Love, three months, with model Bre Tiesi, Zion and Zillion, 16 months, with Abby De La Rosa. The Wild 'n Out host had a baby named Zen with Alyssa Scott but sadly lost the child to brain cancer in December 2021.
"Today is a special one, y'all for many reasons but it's not gonna be an easy one. I haven't even shared this with anybody, not even the crew," Nick said while announcing his son's death in an episode of his anonymous show Nick Cannon. The talk show host shares son Golden, 5, and daughter Powerful, 1, with Brittany Bell. Nick describes the birth of his son Rise as "the most difficult labor and delivery I have ever witnessed."
Cannon says Rise Messiah was born after 48 hours of excruciating pain and life-risking danger. While describing his bond with his newborn's mother, Nick writes, "I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need. Celebrating Bell for being the rock and foundation of my Fatherhood journey." Cannon credits Bell for enlightening him on parenting, psychology, spirituality, love, and life in general."
