Noel Fielding Misses The Great British Bake Off Finale 

Fans of the Great British Bake Off were left "gutted" during the grand final on Tuesday because host Noel Fielding was not present at the beginning of the episode.

As per Express, the absence of host Noel Fielding at the beginning of the Great British Bake Off grand final on Tuesday left viewers of the show "gutted."

His co-host Matt Lucas announced right at the show's beginning that Noel would not be participating on the first day of the final because he was ill.

But in response to the news, fans expressed that they were sad about his absence, with one even saying, "Why am I even watching this?"

One user commented on Twitter, asking, "OMG - where's Noel...?" It's all because to him that the show goes on. While another commented, "Okay Bake Off has been awful enough this year without Noel now not presenting the final."

A third viewer expressed their disappointment that Noel won't be able to participate in the championship match. "No Noel?? Can't deal!!!" exclaimed a fourth fan who was utterly heartbroken.

A fifth individual voiced their displeasure, saying, "No Noel in the GBBO finale?! Why am I wasting my time even viewing this?'

Along these lines, another participant commented, "Bake Off final with no Noel?????? It's probably best to cancel the whole thing at this point."

The reason for Noel's absence is that Syabira asked him to "stay away" last week. Several of Noel's admirers have pointed out that the comedian may have taken Syabira's request literally. However, later in the show, Noel returned for the showstopper tasks, which were shot the day after the previous day.

The celebrity judge joined Matt and the other two judges, Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, for a debriefing on the previous day, during which they informed him about the technical bakes that were not particularly outstanding.

After that, Noel was there to help Matt present the last round of the competition, during which the bakers were charged with crafting an intricate culinary sculpture.

Sandro Farmhouse, Syabira Yusoff, and Abdul Rehman Sharif are all competing against one another for the title of champion of the Great British Bake Off in 2022.

Fielding is a well-known comedian and actor. In the 2000s, Noel was best recognized for his work with the comedic company The Mighty Boosh alongside Julian Barratt. More recently, he has been renowned for his role as a co-presenter on The Great British Bake Off.
