Rebel Wilson Engaged to Girlfriend Ramona Agruma after Seven Months of Dating

Although we haven't directly heard from the two parties involved about the betrothal, several sources claim Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are engaged. Eyewitnesses alleged Wilson and her seven-months-long girlfriend sported shiny diamond rings at George Clooney's star-studded Casamigos Halloween party. Wilson, 42, debuted her relationship with Agruma earlier this year in the summer.  

"They were making out in the corner and telling everyone how excited they are to be engaged," an insider said about the newly engaged couple. It's not clear who first popped the question, but the duo reportedly got engaged a few weeks ago. The Pitch Perfect star's coming out moment coincided with her relationship debut with Agruma. "I thought I was searching for a Disney prince, but maybe what I really needed was a Disney Princess," Wilson wrote while sharing a sweet snap of her and Agruma.   

Wilson, whose previous public relationship history only includes men, has been gushing nonstop about her new lady love. A source close to the actress told People, "Rebel is in an amazing place. I've never seen her happier." The now-betrothed pair met on a date arranged by a mutual friend, who thought Rebel and Agruma would really kick it off. Opening up about her fairy tale love story, Wilson revealed she and Agruma bonded via phone for weeks before actually hitting it.  

"We spoke on phone for weeks before the meeting," said the Australian actress. Wilson added, "It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic." Wilson goes on to call her relationship with Agruma "healthy and equal." "I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship," says the Aussie.

The Senior Year actress was last in a relationship with the brewing company Anheuser-Busch heir Jacob Busch. The pair were together for over a year before splitting ways in February 2021. Following her split from Jacob, Wilson swore off dating for a while. The Pitch Perfect actress said she was in the "hot girl summer" phase. The actress revealed she was single and looking for the right person.   

Wilson's fiancee, Agruma, is a fashion and jewelry designer. Ramona founded the sustainable fashion brand called Lemon Ve Limon in 2021. Ramona also enjoys the position of creative director at the jewelry company DeLys, founded by her in 2013. Since revealing their relationship to the world, Wilson and Agruma have kept fans updated on their shared journey as a couple and partners. The pair took their relationship up a notch when they launched their line, R&R Club.
