Robin Wright Files for Divorce from Husband Clement Giraudet after 4 years of Marriage!

Robin Wright and Clément Giraudet are reportedly splitting up. Wright listed the date of the couple's separation, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

On Saturday, Robin Wright reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of four years, Clément Giraudet. According to Daily Mail, the House of Cards actress, 56, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her divorce.

Robin began dating the 37 years old Yves Saint Laurent executive in 2017 before marrying in a private ceremony in France the following year.

The actress has also requested that the court not use its ability to award spousal support because, according to a 'post-nuptial agreement, all assets are his/her separate property.' The couple had no children together.

Wright was recently photographed out in Los Angeles without her wedding band on August 30.

Robin will be divorcing for the third time, having married the late Dane Witherspoon in 1986 before pursuing Madonna's ex-Sean Penn in 1989.

Robin has two children with ex-husband Sean: Hopper Penn, 28, and Dylan Penn, 30. They married in 1996 and planned to divorce in December 2007, but they called off the divorce four months later.

They split again in April 2009 but withdrew the divorce papers the next month; however, Robin filed the divorce papers in August 2009, and their divorce was finalized in July 2010.

Wright and Clement's relationship has remained more private, but they have been photographed spending quality time together over the years. The lovebirds were last seen together in October 2021, when they were enjoying a steamy make-out session on the beach in Los Angeles.

Prior to that, the couple enjoyed a sun-soaked vacation in St. Tropez in August 2021.

As per People, Clement and Robin married on August 10, 2018, in a small and intimate ceremony in France.

"Robin wanted it to be about them and not about a large production," said a source at the time.

According to Vogue Paris, the couple was surrounded by their nearest and dearest, with Wright reportedly wearing a bohemian lace wedding gown for the occasion.

They reportedly got engaged in the winter of 2017 and were photographed kissing in Paris with a band clearly visible on Robin's wedding ring finger.

In September 2017's New York Fashion Week, the Princess Bride star and the fashion executive were first spotted together at her son Hopper's soccer match.

From 1996 to 2010, Wright was married to Sean Penn. Hopper and Dylan are the actors' children. Wright was also married to Dane Witherspoon from 1986 to 1988, and she was engaged to Ben Foster until their relationship ended in August 2015.
