Alex Walkinshaw is an English actor, well known for his portrayal of Sergeant Dale Smith on the police procedural series “The Bill”. Alex Walkinshaw is a close friend to his co-stars Roberta Taylor and René Zagger. He describes Taylor as the second mother to him. Alex started his acting career at the age of twelve as an extra on the series "Grange Hill". He was nominated for outstanding Drama Performance at the National Television Awards.
