Donatella is a fashion designer and current vice president of the Versace Group as well as chief designer. She is the youngest child of Francesca Versace and Antonio Versace, a personal financier to the Italian aristocracy. Her older sister, Tina, died at the age of twelve from an improperly treated tetanus infection. Gianni Versace is the older brother and Santo Versace is the younger brother of Donatella. Versace has given cameo performance in many films relating to fashion and its industry such as Zoolander. Lady Gaga wrote the song “Donatella” from 2013 album Artpop for her. Versace battled drug addiction after her brother’s death, she sought treatment in 2004.
Donatella was married to American model Paul Beck. They are parents to two children, daughter Allegra (1986) and son, Daniel (1990). Their son is named after a song by Elton John, a close family friend. Their daughter Allegra inherited 50% of Versace’s entire stock after her uncle, Gianni’s death. Donatella and Paul are no longer in the relation of marriage. These two got married in 1983 and got divorced in 2000. According to her public profile, Donatella is single.
