Elisa DiStefano is an award-winning reporter for News 12 Long Island. She was born to mother Grace DiStefano and father Thomas C. DiStefano. Her father retired as the owner of Dano Automotive, an auto body shop and car dealership in East Northport, N.Y. and mother works in Hauppauge as a social services examiner for the State of New York in Suffolk County. Elisa is also the traffic and entertainment anchor for News 12’s Morning Show.
Elisa DiStefano is a regular contributor and the Arts & Entertainment Expert for Luxury Living Magazine. She was voted Best Local TV reporter by the Long Island Press. Elisa enjoys volunteering her time to help a variety of causes, and hosts many charity events including her own Sneakers and Sandals Beach Ball, benefiting local organizations such as Long Island Cares.
