Elise Silver Is Ex-Wife of Frank Thomas

Elise Silver and former baseball player Frank Thomas met for the first time in the spring of 1991 at the Columbia restaurant in Sarasota, Florida, for the first time. The couple met for a few more times and a few weeks later moved in together. 

Since Silver was very familiar with baseball players because of her family's association with the , so she was never interested in marrying a baseball player. However, Thomas convinced her that their relationship could work, and thus on February 8, 1992, the couple tied the Knot.

Sadly, Silver's fears turned true. Elise and her then-husband, Thomas, separate on December 1997 and on November 1999, she filed for divorce saying,

"Frank had been 'guilty of...grounds for dissolution of marriage' that she preferred not to disclose"

The divorce was acrimonious, and the settlement process ran long. The couple finally divorced on December 21, 2001.

Elise Silver Shares Three Children With Ex-Husband

Elise Silver has three children with her ex-husband Frank Thomas. She gave birth to her eldest child, Sterling Edward Thomas, on July 1992. After two years, on March 1994, she became the mother to Sloan Alexandra Thomas, and on July 1996, she welcomed Sydney Blake Thomas.

Since Elise has kept a low profile after divorce, some it is not known whether she married again or had other children besides these three. On the other hand, Silver's ex-husband Thomas has three more children from his second marriage to Megan Thomas.

Also, her family, The Silvers of Rochester, has long been involved with the baseball team Rochester Red Wings. Silver Stadium in Rochester is named after her great uncle Maury Silver.

Secondly, though the exact detail of Silver and Thomas' divorce settlement is not known, however, it is reported that the divorce settlement was expensive for the former baseball player. She likely earned millions in spousal support and child support.
