Frank Welker is an American actor, primarily a voice actor. He attended Santa Monica College in California majoring in Theatrical Arts. Frank gained honors for his performance as the Cowardly Lion college’s theater production of “The Wizard of OZ”. His first voice acting career started from a commercial for Friskies dog food. Frank's first on-camera film was as college kids from Rutgers University. He also appeared in the Disney film"The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" in 1969.
Frank got his first major voice role as Fred Jones in the "Scooby Doo" in 1969. He has worked a voice actor in many recurring characters in the original Transformers animated series. Welker won an Emmy Award in honor of his lifetime achievements. He is reported to be single currently.
