Génesis Rodríguez Pérez is an actress, who came to prominence after playing in Telemundo telenovelas such as Doña Bárbara, Dame Chocolate and Prisionera and in Days of Our Lives, as Becky Ferrer. She is the daughter of José Luis Rodríguez, a Venezuelan actor and singer and Carolina Pérez, a Cuban model. She studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institutes.
She hasn't been married to anyone yet and also does not have any child. Currently she is single. Her personal life is full of ups and downs. Controversy arose when she got involved in an underage sex scandal with a 30 yrs old married man, while she was just 16. Later the case was settled out of court where she received millions of dollars as a compensation.
