Jade Amelia Thirlwall, 24, is a British pop singer who is known as the member of the 4-piece girl group ‘Little Mix.' The group was formed in the eight season of 'The X Factor, ' and eventually, they won the competition. Early Life and Education
Jade Thirlwall was born as Jade Amelia Thirlwall on 26th December 1992, in South Shields, England to Norma Badwi and James Thirlwall. She grew up along with his brother, Karl. She holds British nationality and belongs to Caucasian ethnicity.
She attended Steps Dance and Fitness and trained there until she turned 15. Later she enrolled at the Performer’s Stage School, and when she turned thirteen, she went to St. Wilfrid’s Community College.
Career
Jade Thirlwall began singing since the age of 6 and used to participate in several singing competitions. Later she started performing in clubs and pubs. In 2008, Thirlwall auditioned for The X Factor, but unfortunately, she was eliminated at the Bootcamp stage for lacking confidence.
Again in 2010, she auditioned for the X-Factor, and this time also she failed, but she never lost hope. In 2011, she again auditioned this time pairing up with two girls in the group Orion. The group failed to grab success, but later she paired with Leigh-Anne, Jesy Nelson, and Perrie Edwards to form an all-girls group band, Little Mix.
The gang of girls won the title of the eighth season of ‘The X Factor.’ In 2012, they released their debut album ‘DNA’ which topped at #4 on the US Billboard 200. Since then, the band has released many albums and singles.
The band has their own YouTube channel, ‘Little Mix’ which has more than 7 million subscribers and has billions of views.
Personal Life
Thirlwall is in a romantic relationship with her long-time boyfriend, Jed Elliot who is a music artist. The duo is together since 2015, and still, they are going strong. Once in an interview with The Mirror, she shared because of their hectic schedule they were unable to give enough time to each other.
Priorly, she dated Sam Craske from the dance band Diversity. The couple was together for a year only and after that went their separate ways.
