The couple first met in April 2003 while Damon filming Stuck on You in Miami. After a few datings, the couple eventually fell in love and after two years of relationship, the couple went through a lavish engagement in September 2005. 

The duo is proud parents of three daughters Isabella Damon (born in June 2006), Gia Zavala Damon (born in August 2008) and Stella Zavala Damon (born in October 2010).

Since 2012, Barroso lived in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles along with her husband and four children. She often attends public events with her husband and her dresses never failed to impress the fashion police.

Luciana Barroso was born in 1976 in Salta, Argentina. Her father was an insurance agent and mother was a housekeeper. She was quite young when her parents divorced and she was raised by her grandparents. She graduated in Arts from a local college but soon dropped.

After completing higher education, Barroso worked as a bartender in Miami where she first met her now-husband, Matt Damon. She gained overnight popularity after dating Damon.
