Actor Mark Patton's most notable last project includes A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge which gave him fame and career destruction both. After the failure of the film's release in 1985, Patton has done a few projects but still keeps his privacy under the radar.

Remarkably, the response from caring individuals has been overwhelming. As of now, the campaign has garnered support from over 1,300 generous donors, surpassing the initial goal by more than double. The collective contributions have amounted to an incredible $46,507, providing Mark with vital support during this challenging time.

Educated in Missouri, Mark Patton soon left his hometown for New York to become an actor. And, in the beginning, as he climbed the ladder of his career with only $137 in his pocket when he arrived in NYC, then young Patton ironically started playing gay roles.

Patton is also known for his roles in Freddy vs. Jason, Amityville: Evil Never Dies, Family Possessions, and Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street, and 1 Dead Dog. 

Besides, Patton is also an interior designer as he worked as one in New York after quitting acting. And, after leaving New York, he moved to Florida where he grew interested in architecture.
