Melanie Lynn Clapp - Current Relationship Status 

Melanie Lynn Clapp is the ex-wife of Jackass star, Johnny Knoxville. She was previously engaged on May 15, 1995, to her first husband also known as Philip John Clapp. The pair first crossed paths in their twenties.  Their relationship went through a rough patch after eleven years of marriage.

Sadly, Clapp and her husband weren't meant to last forever. The Hollywood former duo who lived in Los Angeles was married for twelve years before getting a divorce citing irreconcilable differences. According to the court documents, the pair had separated a year ago in July 2006.

Even less is on the records as to how and why the pair came to end their marriage. After their marriage of more than a decade, the duo parted ways in July 2006. One year of filing, the divorce was finalized on July 28, 2009. The singer Jessica Simpson shocked the world after she published her memoir, Open Book.

In the book, Jessica mentioned her affair with Knoxville to be rather than an emotional affair as opposed to a physical affair when both were married to their respective partners. It's unclear whether Melanie has remarried and according to public knowledge, she now leads a private life in her 1929 Texas Antique house bought in 2007.
