Early Life and Education of Robin Lord Taylor

Robin Lord Taylor was born on 4th June 1978 in Shueyville, Iowa, the U.S. He belongs to white-American ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

Taylor was born to Robert Harmon Taylor and Mary Susan (née Stamy) Taylor. He has an older sister named Susan Taylor Chehak, who is an author.

Taylor did his schooling at the Solon High School. He then joined the Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in theatre in 2000. Taylor also went to architecture camp at the Washington University in St. Louis as a kid.

Robin Lord Taylor has played iconic roles in the number of movies as well as television series. He made his television debuted through the 2005 American police procedural and legal drama television series, Law & Order. The same year, he also was also cast in a Short film, Jesus Children of America as Mike.

In 2006, Taylor worked in three movies, Pitch, The House is Burning and Accepted. He also co-created and co-starred with Billy Eichner in Creative Nation, a live talk show, at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Taylor then made his appearances in several movies, Step Up 3D, Another Earth, The Melancholy Fantastic, Cold Comes the Night, Full Dress whereas his TV credits Person of Interest, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Walking Dead, and among others.

Robin Lord Taylor’s Personal life 

Robin Lord Taylor is in a marital relationship with Production designer Richard Dibella since 2011. It has been more than seven years, the pair is married and has been together since 2004.  

Taylor is quite secretive about his personal life. He didn’t even reveal his wedding date until 2016 when he tweeted,

“Five years ago today, I married the greatest man I’ve ever met. We are proud and unafraid. #LoveIsLove,”

Taylor has lived in Manhattan, New York since 2000. He is close friends with comedian Billy Eichner, who is known for his performances in Hulu’s Difficult People and Parks & Recreation.
