Taylor Hurt - Survived by Family & Girlfriend Paige Pirtle

Gone too soon, the passionate chef Taylor Hurt has left behind her beloved family members, friends and so many who dearly miss her.

As per her obituary, she is survived by her parents Gary Hurt and Luvith Hurt, and other family members including Kay Cameron, del Sanders, and Vivian Hurt who is her sister.

Many of her supporters paid tribute to her via online writing, "I hope her family and friends feel comfort in seeing her make such a great Jambalaya in the Chopped kitchen."

In addition, Taylor Hurt was previously engaged to her long-term girlfriend turned fiancee, Tara Aatma. First of all, the lovebirds lived in a romantic relationship for four years. after they began dating in 2012. Hurt did not share her name or other details but talked about her on Instagram.

On May 21, 2016, Hurt announced her engagement with her partner. In the picture, she looked pleased to be engaged with her partner. A month later, Hurt also shared a picture of their wedding rings on her Instagram on June 4, 2016. Taylor showed up their dazzling golden-diamond rings, "Our finger crowns" followed by "wedding rings, ruby, diamonds, I put a ring on it" where were hashtagged.

However, Taylor and Tara ended their relationship in 2017 around the time the aspiring chef had entered and left rehab and was working on her career and sobriety. In 2019, Hurt announced she was dating her girlfriend Paige Pirtle on her Facebook.

And, speaking of her sexuality, Taylor Hurt was openly gay, but never talked about it openly. She led people to think of her as transgender or gay. The chef did not have any children though she called herself a "dog dad." She resided in Brooklyn, New York before her death where she was working on her career..

Taylor Hurt was a professional chef at New York's LaRina restaurant in Brooklyn. She created several of her own original recipes and also published them in her own cookbook titled BeNourished.

Hurt was also one of the contestants on the cooking competition show called Chopped which airs on the Food Network on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET. Chopped had even dedicated an episode for Hurt.

Taylor Hurt's Death

Taylor Hurt passed away in late November 2020. It's been said, the celebrity chef was involved in a car accident. But her loved ones are yet to claim the cause of her death. Taylor was only 30 years old at the time of her death.
