The couple made their relationship public in January at Entertainment Weekly's SAG Awards weekend bash. Metz expressed,
"Here's the thing, like, he needs to have his own life. I don’t want him roped into mine, so I just want to protect him."
The 38-year-old actress has been adamant in the past that she does not need any men to live a happy life, however, when she saw her future beau between the set-ups, she just fell in love.

Recently an image of Chrissy and Sylvester Stallone went viral. Sylvester took a punch from Chrissy on the set of This Is Us on Saturday, 12 August.
The Rambo star confirmed that he is, in fact, portraying a military role in the program with Justin Hartley, who also appeared wearing military attire for a photo shoot.
Stallone wrote,
