Andy Cohen and Melissa Gorga Sued for $30 Million By RHONJ Star's Former Business Partner Jackie Beard Robinson!
The RHONJ starlet Melissa Gorga and Bravo TV host Andy Cohen have been dragged into the court with $30 million lawsuit on their back!
The plaintiff is Gorga's former business partner, Jackie Beard Robinson who started the lawsuit with allegations of defamation and intentional emotional stress in her life.
Robinson and Gorga were partners back in 2015 and the duo opened a clothing store, Envy in Montclair, New Jersey. Their partnership, however, didn't last that long as, by 2016, Robinson cut off Gorga from the business claiming the reality star for "misappropriated over $37,000 from the store.
In the claim, Robinson states that after terminating their partnership, she went to the store to take back merchandise that belonged to her in broad day light but Gorga told the story differently in an episode of RHONJ stating that Robinson snuck inside the store and stole all the clothes.
Also in an episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked her about the incident,
"Wow, so that lady wound up kind of ripping you off?" to which she replied "YES"
Disappointed, Robinson hence has finally filed the lawsuit, stating that the statements made her look like a felon, damaging her image in public, causing serious emotional distress. And the lawsuit alleges that Cohen and Gorga pretended together to accuse Robinson of stealing all the clothes from the store.
Melissa and Andy have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
