She addressed,

"The first rule of Washington doesn’t compare things to Nazis. The second thing is, do not connect anything to rape. Those are the two things that will get you in the problem. Never say it, never do it."

On 26 October 2016, she said,

"Donald Trump supporters keyed her car, cut truck cables."

"Somewhere along the campaign trail, I fell into the habit of smiling back at members of the crowd as they jeered at me. Some days it felt like that was my armor — a shield from the chants of 'CNN sucks.' Other times I hoped it would be a signal, Hey, I’m just doing my job. I know you’re mad at me, but I’m not mad at you."

Once in November 2015, Trump offensively called her "a total novice reporter".

Well, that was a challenging phase for Sara, however, a journalist has to face some extreme circumstance in some phase of their life.
