Honey Boo Boo's Mother Mama June Arrested on Drug Charges

Honey Boo Boo's mama June Shannon got arrested on drug charges in Tuskegee, Alabama last Wednesday along with her boyfriend.

• Reality TV star June Shannon was arrested for drug-possession charges in Tuskegee, Alabama on Wednesday.
• Shannon's boyfriend, Geno Doak was also arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance.
• Shannon, along with her daughter Alana Thompson rose to fame after landing on 2012 beauty pageant series "Toddlers & Tiaras".
• Shannon and Thompson came up with their own reality show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," which was canceled in 2014 after Shannon's bachelorette behavior.

June Shannon, aka "Mama June",  a reality TV star of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and We TV's "Mama June: From Not to Hot," also got arrested on drug-possession charges. 

Shannon, fell in the hands of custody at a gas station in Tuskegee, Alabama, on Wednesday. The District Attorney’s Office of Macon County, Alabama, confirmed to the news as on possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia charges.

Geno Doak, Shannon's boyfriend, also got arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, and domestic violence. However, the DA's office didn't go into the detail of both on the domestic dispute that landed the couple in jail. 

Shannon, 39, came to limelight alongside her daughter Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo) on the TLC beauty pageant series "Toddlers & Tiaras" starting from 2012.

Later that year, Shannon and Thompson came up with their own reality show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," that show the family around their hometown of McIntyre, Georgia.

Nonetheless, four seasons after the show got canceled in 2014 when Shannon, came up in the controversy back then. The mother of four was found dating a registered sex offender who was convicted of child molestation however the relationship has since ended.

Shannon returned to the reality show in 2017 on We TV's "Mama June: From Not to Hot". The show documented her transformation after weight loss surgery, where she dropped 300 pounds.

Since then her boyfriend, Geno who she is dating for three years appeared regular on the show.

The couple adores each other and in the meantime, June flaunted about her boyfriend on one of the episode. 

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but if we're not headed that direction then I'm gonna have to walk away." 

But June and Geno recent arrest may complicate things even more!
