One of the women the Vh1 viewers watched on Basketball Wives' season three in 2011 was Meeka Claxton who later quit the show following an assault scandal with fellow co-star, Tami Roman. Meeka is indeed known as the former-wife of the Basketball legend, Speedy Claxton.
Speedy Claxton, an NBA champ who needs to introduction, remained as the husband of his long-term girlfriend turned wife for sixteen years until their bitter divorce which was finalized in 2017. Moreover, Claxton rose to fame after she began dating Speedy in the late 90s' whom she met whilst studying at Hofstra University, New York. The two tied the knot in 2006.

Meeka first announced the sad news of separation with Speedy in 2014 and filed for divorce paper five months later. Thier fans were absolutely heartbroken on the news. But, the sadness on the news compares nothing to the turbulent divorce that took several scandals and court attendance for three continuous years.
The constant argument before their relationship hit rock bottom also followed to the courts. The businesswoman and her former husband constantly argued over child & spousal support and property (theJasmineBRAND) division issues. Other than that, the retired NBA player also accused his wife of not obeying certain court rules on their divorce. Not to mention, Meeka was also ordered to submit her 2008 Range Rover she drove whilst she was arrested for DUI.

The baby daddy of Meeka's children is happily dating his new girlfriend, who goes by the name Amber who often shares pictures of herself and Speedy As for Meeka, she is still single and yet to find a new man.
