There are certain aspects of her life for which the Oscar-winning actress perpetually draws attention and sporadic headlines, but her personal life isn't one of them. One of the highest-paid actresses in the world and legit, the highest-paid, for the years 2015, and 2016, Jennifer Lawrence, has surprisingly kept her private matters at the back seat of her overtly celebrated life. The actress's best-known films include the Hunger Games franchise, Garden Party, and Silver Linings Playbook, which earned her the first Academy award; the second was presented to her for her role in American Hustle.  

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990, in Indian Hills, Kentucky. She started her acting career on television and made her way to the silver screen with Garden Party, The Burning Plain, and eventually landed her breakthrough role in the 2010 independent drama Winter's Bone. Throughout her two-decades-long career in the industry, Lawrence has had her share of romances, but it was Cooke Maroney, who ended up winning the Oscar winner's heart.

The Hunger Games actress and Maroney's love story was a whirlwind romance done right. Lawrence and Cooke were introduced by a mutual friend in June 2018. By August, the pair were official and a few months later- engaged. "I don't know, I started with the basics, you know, 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?" the actress says while unpacking her first impression of Cooke before calling him "the one." "He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney," Jennifer gushes.   

The twosome kept their relationship private up until their nuptials, following which the fans had access to the duo's firsthand experience. "They definitely appear to be in it for a long haul," an insider said about the pair in 2018. The Silver Linings Playbook actress sparked engagement rumors in early 2019 when she was spotted with a huge diamond ring; Lawrence later revealed she had second thoughts about marrying Cooke. "When you don't fully know yourself, you have no idea where to put yourself," the actress says while explaining her initial hesitance about the wedding.   

"I'm so happy I didn't freak out and cancel the wedding and run away and go," says Jennifer, who married Maroney in October 2019, in an intimate ceremony at Belcourt of Newport in Rhode Island. Although a low-key affair, the wedding still included one of the biggest names in the industry, including Kris Jenner, Adele, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, and Emma Stone. Lawrence even took a brief hiatus from her career in 2019, not particularly to focus on her personal life, but it sure did help.   

News of Lawrence's first pregnancy came two months ahead of her comeback with Netflix's Don't Look Up, in September 2021. And although it was an exciting time for the Oscar winner, her husband, and her legion of fans, Lawrence kept her pregnancy journey as low profile as possible. The actress welcomed her firstborn, Cy, in February 2022. "My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn't know about," the Oscar winner says as she talks about motherhood.

He's smart and funny and I think really keeps her on her toes and he doesn't treat her like a celebrity like her other boyfriends did."    

Before Maroney, Lawrence dated director Darren Aronofsky for a year. The actress had a brief on-and-off relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2015. The American Hustle actress's dating history also includes actor Nicholas Hoult, who she dated for five years, from 2010 to 2015.
