Good news for all you Musical Drama Rent fans as it's alumni Anthony Rapp is now all set to star in the CBS All Access TV reboot Star Trek: Discovery.
The 45-years-old star is famous among his fans because of his acting but many of his fans are curious to know about his personal life. He stated in an interview that he's gay and many people would like to know if he's dating someone or not?
Anthony Rapp Dating Someone
We all know about his sexual orientation after he revealed it himself that he's queer. Being a humble and honest man, Anthony stated that he involved himself in various romantic relationships with women in the past.
Maybe that's why he never liked the term gay branded upon him.
During an interview to the Out magazine, he stated,
"The only reason I didn't entirely love "gay" is because it would make seem false any romantic or sexual relationships I ever had with women, but I'm absolutely primarily gay, no question."
He also added,
"I do know some gay men who absolutely never want to touch a woman ever. I also like the umbrella term of "queer." There's a part of me that likes that queer also means unusual or strange."
Anthony is one of those rare actors who came out of the closet long time back, at times when it was stil considered a social taboo. But not anymore as there are many countries where gay marriage is legalized, USA being one of them.
The actor is currently in a relationship with an unknown man named Teerakeni. The couple isn't shy about showing their love to each other and posts beautiful pictures on their Instagram account.
