The Wicker Park alum grew up in Montreal Quebec where food culture is highly dependent on meat. Needless to mention, Pare was previously a big meat consumer too. But, meat consumption for Jessica changed in the late 2000s' in her late twenties after discovering the production of meat and what was happening to it. It left the actress totally disgusted.

Miss Pare hasn't looked back on her diet since then. Not to mention, she even adopted new habits like learning Indian vegan cuisine, something she prefers to have on a regular basis. Now residing in Los Angelos, Pare also has her favorite vegan market produced by the local farmers.

Whilst speaking of her diet routine, the bilingual actress who also fluently speaks French usually eats raw food and starts her day off by eating fruits. And for lunch, she mostly opts for a vegetable salad. Pare, however, follows her own vegan rules too as she doesn't eat wheat. Pare infact considers herself the 'world's worst annoying dinner guest'.

Whatsoever, Pare is satisfied and totally happy with her lifestyle. And, did we mention that adopting a vegan diet is actually what keeps the actress's skin clear and healthy?

Pare Also Takes A Barre Class To Stay Healthy

Meanwhile, following the pattern of a vegan diet isn't the only factor behind her healthy lifestyle that keeps her young. Speaking of which, Pare is a fan of the Barre dance method, which is what highly keeps the actress motivated for work. But, what exactly is a Barre?

Well, it's a kind of exercise that also revolves around dancing along with a mix of yoga, ballet, and pilates. Pare admitted the class being fun but, however, also claims it's not really easy to perform Barre.

Not to mention, to keep her body fit and healthy, Pare who became a naturalized American citizen in June 2019 also works out in the gym four times a week where she highly emphasizes her chest, abs, and lower back. For your information, the Lost and Delirious alum can deadlift too. No wonder, Pare flaunts such an envious figure despite being a mother of one.

Shocking, isn't it? But well, Pare has been a mother since 2015 to her beloved son named Blues Anthony Paré Kastner the actress shares with the rock musician, John Kastner. Pare and the Asexuals band member began dating since 2012 prior to becoming parents three years later.

And, whilst this is the first time for Pare on becoming a parent, it's the second time for her partner who has a daughter named Summer Lee Kastner with former and first wife, actress Nicole de Boer, renowned for her role as Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

On the other hand, Pare is also a divorced woman who previously shared a married life of three years with former husband, Joseph M. Smith, a film producer and writer. Pare and Mr. Smith married in 2007 but divorced in 2010.
